Pens Win 7-2

Tonight in Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Penguins had a dominant performance against the New York Rangers and won by a score of 7-2. The Pittsburgh Penguins now lead the series 3-1 and can advance if they win on Wednesday in New York. The Penguins were down 1-0 early but tied it at 1-1 thanks to a goal from Sidney Crosby. Then early in the 2nd period, Mike Matheson and Jake Guentzel scored goals within 24 seconds to put the Pens up 3-1. After the Rangers cut it to 4-2, the Penguins took over the rest of the game with goals from Heinen, Carter, and Malkin. Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel, and Louis Domingue were the 3 stars of the game.
