On Wednesday, Oscar Tshiebwe went on SportsCenter and announced that he will be returning to Kentucky.
The decision all Kentucky fans have been waiting for and it was well worth the wait. Oscar can now take advantage of his NIL has he returns to Kentucky. Oscar has been a fan favorite since he became a Cat. And now we get one more season of one of the best players in UK history.
Tshiebwe averaged 17.4 points and 15.1 rebounds for UK last season while winning a bunch of awards including the National Player of the Year.
We now await the decisions of Shaedon Sharpe and Sahvir Wheeler. They have until Friday to announce if they are going to the NBA Draft. And we await who will come to Kentucky from the transfer portal.
