Idaho transfer Ormanie Arnold has committed to Cincinnati

Cincinnati has landed another piece in a secondary that has lost many pieces to the transfer portal. On Sunday, the Bearcats landed a commitment from Idaho transfer defensive back Ormanie Arnold. Arnold will help fill the shoes of the seven secondary members who entered the transfer portal.

A look at Ormanie Arnold's college career:

Ormanie Arnold was a three-star athlete in the class of 2022. Arnold, who is from Compton, CA, only held an offer from Idaho, according to 247 Sports.

During the 2022 season for the Vandals, Arnold only played in four games and was redshirted for the rest of the season. Before redshirting, he had four tackles, one pass deflection, and one interception. During his redshirt freshman season, he had 33 tackles, seven pass deflections, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery.

Ormanie Arnold will join Ohio State transfer safety Kye Stokes in the Bearcats secondary. Cincinnati also has four-star cornerback Daniel James, three-star safeties Zaravion Price and Quinton Price, and three-star cornerback Jiquan Sanks committed in the 2024 recruiting class.
