H-SC, an all mens college located in Hampden-Sydney, VA, has become the first Division 3 program to host an NIL collective known as "The Tigerball Collective". The inaguaral run will feature H-SC Football & Basketball campaigns to provide all incoming athletes with NIL deals. The initiative is fan driven and operated through the Fantheon website. Considering Princeton Review ranked H-SC as having the nation's second best alumni network amongst private schools, the NIL program has the potential to gain serious traction.
Hampden-Sydney football routinely ranks as the top D3 team in the nation for average fan attendance per game with numbers that approach the low end of the FBS. Basketball too has for nearly 30 years been a contender in D3, with the 1999 team making a title game appearance. Considering past success and the administrations' dedication to athletics, expect The Tigerball Collective to make an immediate impact on H-SC and the ODAC's power dynamics.
