The two running backs in my Heisman rankings remain on top after both of them had bye weeks. Many different quarterbacks used that to their advantage to put up great numbers. Here is my latest Heisman top 5 rankings:

1. Kenneth Walker III (RB, Michigan State) ↔️

Kenneth Walker III & Michigan State had a bye week this past weekend. We will really know how good Walker is after this weekend when the Spartans battle in-state rivals Michigan. The Wolverines have a very good defense, led by Aidan Hutchinson, that holds opponents to 118 rushing yards per game.

2. Bijan Robinson (RB, Texas) ↔️

Texas also had a bye week & they play a ranked opponent & in-state rival Baylor as well. Baylor has been holding opponents to about 134 rushing yards per game. This will be a great measuring stick for Bijan Robinson & the Texas offensive line.

3. Bryce Young (QB, Alabama) ↔️

Bryce Young tore through the Tennessee defense like it was nothing. Young threw for 371 yards & 2 touchdowns. He also added 2 touchdowns on the ground. Young is 4th in the nation in passer rating as well.

4. Kenny Pickett (QB, Pitt) ⬆️1

Kenny Pickett keeps improving his draft stock week in & week out. He had 303 passing yards & 2 passing touchdowns against a talented Clemson defense with Brent Venables at the helm. Pickett has 23 passing touchdowns on the year with only one pick.

5. Brennan Armstrong (QB, Virginia) ⬆️1

Brennan Armstrong jumps Matt Corral & is back in the top 5. He had a field day against the Georgia Tech defense on Saturday. Armstrong threw for 396 yards & 4 touchdowns while also running for 2 touchdowns. The Virginia quarterback leads the nation in passing by 220 yards.

Other players considered: Matt Corral, Sean Tucker, Bailey Zappe, CJ Stroud
